What is the pricing for tattoos?

Tattoo prices depend on factors like size, intricacy, and placement. Schedule a consultation for an accurate quote tailored to your tattoo idea. The shop minimum is $150.

Do I need to put down a deposit when booking an appointment?

Yes, deposits are required to book.  Each artist works independently. We take a $50 - $250 deposit depending on appointment length. This deposit is non-refundable, non-transferable, and will be applied to your last appointment.  

If you fail to reschedule your appointment at least 48 hours before your scheduled appointment the deposit will be forfeited to the artist.

If a deposit is forfeited or used prior to your last session, you will need to put down another deposit to schedule an appointment.

Consultations are free and never require a deposit.

Will I see the drawing before a deposit?

Sometimes artists will send a rough draft before an appointment, but most do not. It depends on the circumstance, but usually you will see your design on the day of your appointment. Additionally, it allows the artist to have a more direct consultation with the client during the appointment, ensuring that any adjustments or customizations can be made in real time based on the client's preferences.

Do you offer walk-in appointments?

Yes, we do offer walk-in appointments for smaller tattoos, subject to availability. However, we highly recommend booking an appointment in advance to ensure that we can accommodate your request at a time that works for you.

Is there a minimum age requirement for getting a tattoo?

Minnesota state law prohibits anyone under 18 to be tattooed regardless of parental consent.  If you are 18 or older, the state requires a valid, government issued ID to be presented at each tattoo appointment.  We do not allow minors in the shop.

Can I get a cover-up for an existing tattoo?

Yes, some of our skilled artists specialize in cover-up tattoos. Schedule a consultation to discuss your specific needs and ideas.

Do you offer piercing services at Aurora Tattoo Co?

Currently, we focus exclusively on tattoo services and do not provide piercing options. We recommend going to see our friends at BEVEL in Uptown Minneapolis

Do you accept credit cards?

Each artist can accommodate most forms of digital payment methods. If you’re unsure about payment method, please check with your artist

What is the touch-up policy?

We offer complimentary touch ups for tattoos within 6 months to one year (depending on the artist), excluding those on the hands, feet, inner lips, and areas that are more prone to ink falling out due to placement or scar tissue. If you are planning to get another tattoo by the same artist in the near future, we encourage you to wait until your next appointment and combine the two.

Touch ups required due to improper aftercare are not complimentary. E-mail a photo of your tattoo to the shop if you have questions.
