Kyle Zimmerman

Hey, I’m Kyle an apprentice under Emily Berglund here at Aurora. I am working on building my tattoo fundamentals through clean consistent line work, bold designs, and steady improvement. With my background in graphic design, I plan to use my understanding of composition, balance, and visual storytelling to create bold tattoos that stand the test of time. I am drawn to american traditional, neo-traditional, and illustrative tattoos.

Outside of the studio I enjoy watching hockey and most sports, checking out record and thrift stores looking for inspiration and hidden gems. I am a fan of fantasy world building especially fantasy worlds like Lord of the Rings, Elden Ring, and Game of Thrones. I also love a good board or card game.
